Imerys Refractory Bursary Program Overview
Imerys Refractory Minerals South Africa invites applications for its 2024 bursary program. This initiative supports employees, their children and dependents, as well as students residing in local communities (Thabazimbi, Skierlik, Smashblock, and Northam in Limpopo). Bursaries are available for the following fields:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Employee of Imerys Refractory Minerals SA OR child/dependent of employees OR reside in the community (specified in Limpopo)
- Completed Matric
- Studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields in 2024
- Accepted at a recognized South African tertiary institution
Application Process
For Employees:
- Collect a skills development application form from the site HR representative or skills development committee members.
- Refer to relevant learning and development policies.
- Submit the completed form with an acceptance letter from the institution to the HR representative.
For Non-Employees:
- Apply by submitting clear copies of required documents via hand delivery or email.recruitment.rhino@imerys.com

Required Documents:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- University academic record (if currently studying, certified copy)
- Proof of acceptance at a tertiary institution (on institute’s letterhead)
- Motivational letter/letter of interest
- Proof of address: stamped letter from the municipality or traditional authority
